Bologna Business School organizes a workshop to present and discuss the results for Italy of the first international survey on the theme of work-life balance and on the impact of national and organizational culture on the choices of reconciliation between the working and private life of workers.
While technological evolution has transformed the work into a sort of mission 24/7, on the other hand, an increasing number of workers belonging to the new generations is looking for sustainable careers, that is to allow them to pursue their professional ambitions while dedicating time and energy to private life.
The ISWAF research (International Study of Work and Family) has involved over 35 countries worldwide, assessing the relevance and division of responsibilities about the work-life balance between individuals and the company. The data collection and the analysis of the results at the national level has been curated by Professors Gabriele Morandin and Marcello Russo, both professors of the University of Bologna and Co-directors of the Masters in HR and Organization of BBS.
The presentation of the results will be followed by a round table in which representatives of the academic world, managers and representatives of the HR world will participate. The conclusions will be entrusted to Elisabetta Gualmini, Vice President of the Emilia Romagna Region.
The event will be held in Italian.
