Full Professor of Business Organization at the University of Bologna and Dean of BBS. He is Guest Professor at Nankai University (Tianjin) and Mirbis (Moscow), Member of the Board of Trustees of the EFMD, Founding Chair of the Emba Consortium for Global Business Innovation, Board Member of Ferrarelle spa.

ROMANO PRODI
Italian politician, economist, professor, public manager and business executive, who served as President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic from 1996 to 1998 and from 2006 to 2008. From 1999 to 2004 he was President of the European Commission. Romano Prodi is also Chairman of the Collegio di Indirizzo of BBS.

ERIC SCHMIDT

Eric Schmidt is an accomplished technologist, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He joined Google in 2001 and helped grow the company from a Silicon Valley startup to a global leader in technology alongside founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page. Eric served as Google’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman from 2001 to 2011, as well as Executive Chairman and Technical Advisor. Under his leadership, Google dramatically scaled its infrastructure and diversified its product offerings while maintaining a strong culture of innovation. In 2017, Eric co-founded Schmidt Futures, a philanthropic initiative that bets early on exceptional people making the world better. Eric currently serves as Chairman of The Broad Institute Board of Directors and the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence.

FRANCESCO UBERTINI
He graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Bologna, where he also obtained his PhD in Mechanics of Structures. Since 2007 he is full professor of Construction Science at the School of Engineering and Architecture of the Alma Mater Studiorum. He has been Magnifico Rettore (Rector) of the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna since November 1, 2015, and is the youngest rector in Italy.
